Overview

Irie Tools is a Jamaican software development business. The original idea was for Irie Tools to be a company specializing in building software development tools. The first (and so far only) product from Irie Tools is a Pascal compiler, called Irie Pascal. This Pasal compiler is now in its second generation, after one major update (and a number of minor updates).

Below is a list of the most important dates in the history of Irie Tools.

  • Launched Website (IrieTools.com): March 1998
  • First Sale: December 1998
  • Release of Irie Pascal 2.0: January 2001
  • Registered Irie Tools as a business name: July 2002
  • Opened Office: August 2002
